HONORARY CHAIRS
The Honorable Carolyn Maloney |
The Honorable Christopher H. Smith
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
As
a champion for domestic and international women’s issues,
Representative Maloney has been working to end human trafficking. In
2005, she helped passed legislation to target the demand side of sex
trafficking.
In the 110th Congress, she introduced
legislation, H.R. 3424, that would combat human trafficking by using
the tax code to put traffickers in prison. |
As
a Member of the United States House of Representatives, Chris
Smith has championed the rights and interests of many - from
children forced to toil in sweatshops to women kidnapped and sold
into lives of prostitution to unborn children whose opportunity
for life is threatened. Smith has dedicated his life to
protecting human rights and helping the world’s most vulnerable. |
